Shadow Shit

Updated: May 5

“May the things I need to see inside me surface. I am determined to break through. All the ways I’ve been getting in my own way.” - Mayestra

The shadow is a deeply unique personal space that varies for all souls, and involves layers of self discovery.

Here are some ideas of shadow pieces we can look at for more clarity. Come into this space with the intention of loving all that is you. Looking into the shadows is an opportunity to uncover the roots of feelings and behaviors. We are good and loving beings. We don’t need to be fixed. Shedding light on the feelings makes space to love ourselves through it. Honor that hard ass time, release it and fill the void with the love that only comes from deep self compassion. Triggers are my favorite tool. I look at them with a loving curiosity. Why was that so hard for me? How can I hold space for this that honors myself? Not sure what shadow work is? Does anything from this list resonate? Bring it to an Integrate Your Shadows Session. Having love and understanding for all of the pieces of ourselves helps extend that same space for others.
