What types of questions should I ask during a Channeling Session?

Many clients are coming seeking clarity around their relationships, career/professional life, life transitions, upcoming decisions, specific situations/circumstances, and/or their soul’s purpose. I have worked with parents who come into session wishing to find out how they can best support their children. If you are an entrepreneur or business owner you may find it insightful to ask about business ideas, collaborations or projects. I work with other spiritual practitioners who want to use channeled messages to support them in their healing work. Couples can find valuable insight with channeled work to help strengthen their connection to each other and to spirit.

Question 2

How many questions do I have time to ask?

Accepted Answer

Clients can typically address 3-6 questions. In one session. I do not control the time it takes to bring through channeled messages. I recommend being prepared with 3-6 questions with the understanding that we may not be able to get to them all. We will spend some time at the end of the session to process and make sure you feel clear on what came through for you.

Will anything scary come through during a channeling session?

Each session is divinely protected and I channel only beings of the highest light and vibration. Within the sacred space I trust that what is meant for your highest good to receive will come through. I maintain clear energetic boundaries that protect and bring through only supportive, accepting, kind and compassionate light filled messages.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my session?

It is not necessary to do anything specific to prepare in advance, but having questions or general ideas about the answers you seek helps bring through more supportive and powerful insight. Each session will flow in its own divine way. I do make every effort to record sessions for further reflection and send those included in session pricing. I do encourage clients to lean into the space they have invested in as they are called to do so. You may find it helps you feel more grounded, connected and open to receive if you can spend time with your intentions, light a candle, or a small token that represents what you are coming to more fully understand.

How will I feel after a session?

Clients can feel a range of things following a session. Spiritual connection can be uplifting, energizing, relieving, and filled with joy that transforms. You may also find lots of emotions being released with these profound connections. Which can leave you feeling drained or needing space to process. I encourage you to honor all that your body feels and suggest that you rest, meditate or journal, drink plenty of water to recharge and allow integration of your messages.

Do I need to be a part of any particular religion to get answers from this channeling session?

Accepted Answer

No. We may have different language we use to describe the infinite all knowing frequency of spirit and collective consciousness but spirit knows and understands our heart. I hold the intention that the messages come through in a way you can receive them with ease within your own spiritual practice and belief system, whatever that looks like for you.

What if the session turns out to not be what I expected, do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

No. Due to the nature of spiritual work, results can not be guaranteed. Channeled messages come through and resonate differently for each unique person. It is best to enter the session with an open mind knowing that you may not understand how everything fits exactly in that movement and that’s ok. It is not uncommon for messages to continue to resonate outside of the session, sometimes leading to more questions you find yourself curious about.

How would you describe your process?

Typically when I channel, I receive the information by opening myself as a conduit of energy and flowing it directly to you, trusting that it resonates with your question or that it is something you are ready to receive at that moment. Spirit is all knowing and loving, big emotions can accompany this work and you may experience them yourself or witness them in me as messages come through. You may notice I close my eyes, stare in one direction, move my hands, cover my heart center with my hands or rock my body as I channel the messages through.

How does hypnosis work?

During hypnosis you enter a relaxed state, an altered trance-like state. Much like when you meditate or daydream. Your conscious mind is there but more in the background, therefore you remain in control at all times. Your subconscious mind holds your experiences, habits, patterns, memories and ingrained beliefs. These subconscious systems are what make us do what we do and who we are in our awake state. When you enter a trance state through hypnosis we access your subconscious mind. In this space you are more receptive to information and accept ideas, insights, and wisdom more easily as long as they are in alignment with your values and beliefs. This is really powerful at making shifts in perception, thinking and behavior. When you are in this heightened state of suggestibility your intentions and desired changes are woven in to address your specific goals.

Is hypnosis mind control?

Hypnosis is not mind control. When you are in a hypnotic state you are still aware and in control of your actions. You can choose to accept or reject suggestions, and cannot be forced to do anything against your will or morals.

I’m nervous about hypnosis, is it safe?

Yes, of course hypnosis is safe! See my blog posts for more info on how I felt with my first experience. The power of the mind has been studied and pondered for years. There are many false beliefs about working with it because it is still a mysterious place. Working with me in this space we are always pursuing your highest good. My sacred space is divinely protected and holds us both in love and health.

What can I expect in a hypnotic session?

Each session begins with time to discuss and set intentions. Once intentions are set, you will get relaxed and I will guide you through a guided meditation. The time for this varies with each person and how receptive you are to relaxing. Once you are deeply relaxed I’ll ask open ended questions about what you are experiencing based on the context established with the goals of your particular session. During this time you are just reporting what you see, feel, sense and imagine. You’re not trying to figure out why you're seeing it or if you're making it all up (which we all kind of feel like since it’s such a unique experience). We can discuss the “why’s” later in the session. Depending on what you see, feel, sense or imagine in the session, I’ll help you move through different techniques to remove past life residues or negative/stuck/heavy energy that have accumulated in your body, mind or spirit. After that, while you're still deeply relaxed I’ll ask open ended questions again but this time to help you connect the dots between what you experienced and how that affects your current life integrating the goals of your session. Next, I’ll gently bring you out of the deep state of relaxation. After that, we’ll discuss your journey for a few minutes to end your session.

What changes can I expect to feel?

How many sessions do I need?

Because every person is unique in their outlook, beliefs, daily life, families, life history, soul history, karmic patterns etc., it’s difficult to estimate how long it will take to move past an issue or challenge in your life. Depending on how rooted your intention is with your history, personality and lifestyle it could take up to a month after a session for the wisdom and insights to be fully integrated into your body and mind. Insights, understandings, or connections most often don’t end when the session ends. They continue to develop and show up to support you. Change takes commitment and mindfulness. Continue to be in touch with how you feel as you go through your daily life and it will become clear when the timing is right for another session. Our entire existence here on Earth is designed for our souls to grow and evolve. Most of us will always feel like there is some work to be done. This is why I embrace the journey. Releasing the grip of negative emotions and gaining control of our internal landscape always inspires me. Each challenge is an opportunity to feel our strength, experience the magic, deepen the connection through eternal wisdom and to build more confidence.

Do I need to do anything before my session begins?

The moment you book a session, my spirit team and yours are working together to create a session and experience for you that will serve your highest and greatest good. That means trusting the universe/Goddess/God/Divine/your higher power to do what your soul needs most in the session to help you along your personal path to growth and evolution.

Many clients feel called to a specific issue or goal in mind for the session which helps us get a direction for where we want to go in the session. It’s most serving to show up for yourself with openness to experiencing what is best received in that moment.

Will I know what’s going on and remember my session?

With the type of hypnosis I facilitate you will be able to remember everything we cover during your session. Oftentimes under hypnosis or regression your senses are heightened which can allow you to retain more details than if we were to sit and just have a conversation in an awake state. You will be completely alert and extremely relaxed. While we are working with the subconscious part of the mind, the conscious mind never fully turns off or goes away. It relaxes but remains active enough to examine the suggestions made to ensure they align with your personal morals and beliefs. I will make every effort to send you a recording of your session for reflection.

What if I feel like I’m making this stuff up?

It’s most effective when the person is determined, motivated and focused on the change they want to experience. It’s natural to feel like you're making it up when you're moving through a session. I personally feel this is due to our cultural conditioning to believe mystical experiences are not happening, fake or made up. I find this disbelief to even extend to our intuition. In this culture we spend a lot of time distracted and out of our bodies. When we focus our attention inward we will feel those innate yes’s and no’s that confirm what is real for us and what isn’t.

What if I don’t believe in past lives?

People come to me to facilitate an experience where they go into a hypnotic state and receive wisdom and healing. It's important to note that regression sessions are a subjective experience. Interpretations of the sessions vary. There are many ideas about what we are experiencing in these sessions. There are beliefs that these are actual past life memories. Another perspective is that we are tuning into the collective of memories, or that it is your subconscious mind working in metaphor. In my experience facilitating no matter what your truth is on this you will have a meaningful experience that leaves you with a new perspective, insights, an emotional release, and/or answers to your questions. That is the most meaningful part of the work from my perspective.

What if I can’t be hypnotized?

Hypnosis is a natural state similar to daydreaming or getting lost in a book or movie. Willingness and cooperation are important. If you are willing, motivated, and open to the experience it will be successful. The ability to enter a deep trance can get easier over time with more practice. If you have had a difficult time in the past that does not mean you can not have a successful experience now. Feeling safe to relax and be vulnerable is very important. If you have more questions about this please express them so we can work through your resistance if it’s coming up for you.

Is hypnosis covered by insurance?

I do not accept insurance, all my offerings are self-pay. Insurance requires really narrow specifications on health and wellness where my offerings are deeply intuitive and expansive in a way that insurance does not capture.
